Maritime Training Center QMS-MTC was founded in 1997 in
order to provide efficient, systematic and recognized Maritime training with quality standards. This quality is assured as per ISO 9002 requirements and DNV rules for maritime Training Centers. We provide courses in
accordance to the STCW 78/95 requirements based on the IMO model courses, as well as other courses/seminars in order to broaden the officers' knowledge on subjects concerning safety, quality, and
environmental protection. 1. QMS-MTC Training Strategies.

It is our target to offer quality, effective and proper training to broaden the
subjects and means of instruction to maximum extent with :
- Experienced and qualified internal and external instructors and assessors.
- Modern equipment like network connected PCs and printers, image Scanners video and overhead projectors.

training tools
- An excellent learning environment combined with first - class accommodation and
training faciliites
To implement simulators training To this end QMS-MTC has acquired
· To maintain our Quality Assurance System We have obtained since 1997 an ISO 9001
certificate and we are certified by DNV as a qualified training center, in accordance to the DNV rules for Maritime Training Centers.
· To be recognized by various Administrations We are duly recognized and accredited by the Bahamas, Liberia, Malta, Marshals Islands and Panama Flag Administrations under the STCW standards and under
their process to the IMO White List. We have also applied for similar accreditation by Cyprus Flag Administration.
2. Certification database In case that the training is part of the requirements for maritime certification under the provision of the STCW 95 the MTC issue the relevant certificates and forwards them to
the required maritime authority requested by the candidate, for endorsement. The certificate identification number and the corresponding trainee's personal data are registered in the MTC database and are available
for verification. |
