ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVITIES

QMS has no current involvement in marketing of any oil spill manager in USA. However, it has an extensive experience in many aspects of the oil spill business including technical competence. Its shares its knowledge with its clients and offer to act as advisors to clients who do not have the in-house understanding to avoid future problems.

QMS recommends that ship owners / operators, among other things, should:

• Obtain clear statements from their P&I clubs describing what liabilities are covered and under what circumstances they are covered, and seek all information concerning oil response contracts
• Request the spill managers to provide all information concerning their sub-contractors.
• Exercise control on oil spill management operations and activities.

QMS can support its clients by providing information, document preparation (SOPEP and approval, revisions), training, technical support (emergency response, damage stability) in order to assist them to face the problems during such cases.
